I decided to post this build over at The RPF. Click on the link or photo to see my annotated work in progress photos of the Tauriel Dagger build. Creation of the dagger relies on woodworking and sculpting. The woodworking tools I used include a tablesaw, scroll saw and an oscillating belt sander. All of the embellishments were created with Aves Apoxie Sculpt sculpting resin. For duplication reasons I created the dagger master, molded it in silicone, then cast the daggers as pairs in polyurethane resin.
